Guacamole is one of those super satisfying and delicious foods. Use it as a dip or a spread, serve with fresh cut vegetables or on top of your burger. For anyone who has never made guacamole before, it doesn’t get easier than this! This recipe is mild, but you can dice up and add 1 or more jalapeño peppers to give it some kick. The photo above is the basic guac without any cilantro.
- 5 Avocados, mashed
- 2 Shallots, minced
- Juice from 1 Lime
- Sea Salt, to taste
- Black Pepper, to tast
- 2TB Fresh Cilantro, chopped (optional)
- Mash the avocados with a fork in a medium sized mixing bowl.
- Mince the shallots and fold into to the avocado mixture with the lime, sea salt, pepper, and the cilantro, if using.
